Job Description
Beaver Mitsubishi is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Level 1 Technicians to join our growing service team. As a Level 1 Technician, you will be responsible for performing entry-level diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians. Responsibilities:
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements, according to manufacturer specifications.
- Assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostics and repairs.
- Learn and utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify basic vehicle issues.
- Follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Document all work performed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills and knowledge of Mitsubishi vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational training or coursework in automotive technology preferred.
- Entry-level experience in automotive service or a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and shop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Passion for the automotive industry and a desire to specialize in Mitsubishi vehicles.
- Prior experience with Mitsubishi vehicles or variety of make and models is a PLUS.
- ASE certifications (e.g., Maintenance and Light Repair) are a PLUS.
