We’re hiring experienced Extrusion Operators to support a growing plastics manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on production role responsible for running and maintaining extrusion lines to ensure product quality, efficiency, and safety. With multiple new extrusion machines being installed, this is an excellent opportunity to get in early with a company heavily investing in technology, training, and career growth.
Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion lines to meet production and quality standards.
Read shift communication logs and plan daily operations accordingly.
Perform adjustments, installations, and basic equipment repairs as needed.
Inspect materials for quality (thickness, width, opacity, weight, and visual checks).
Maintain accurate production records and inventory of materials.
Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
Support continuous improvement and 5S/housekeeping initiatives.
Assist with packaging, labeling, and pallet preparation.
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
1–3 years of experience operating plastic extrusion machines (blown film strongly preferred; blow molding or other extrusion experience considered)
Ability to perform equipment setup, quality checks, and minor mechanical repairs
Strong attention to detail, safety-focused, and reliable work ethic
Preferred:
Experience with blown film or cast film extrusion processes
Ability to adjust machine parameters, tooling, and programs
Self-motivated, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment

Job Title: Extrusion Operator
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158
Pay: $27.27/hour + $2.00/hour night shift differential.
Contract Length: 3 months (with very strong potential for permanent hire)
Openings: 8 total (4 day shift, 4 night shift)
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating (48 hours one week, 36 the next; every other weekend required)
Shifts:
Days: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM
Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
Overtime: 4 hours built into the schedule every other week; additional OT available as needed
