Nurse Practitioner – Marietta and Surrounding Area Float – MinuteClinic
Location: Aiken SC 29803
Payrate: 74.87
Schedule:
· Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
· Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
· Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Summary:
Nurse Practitioners work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based care to a panel of patients. The team works daily with the provider to drive better outcomes for all patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, management of chronic conditions, and disposition planning. This role reports to the Practice Manager and is considered safety-sensitive.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide primary and family care including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
· Perform administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payments.
· Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
· Conduct wellness services, including health screenings, behavioral health, chronic condition management, and patient education.
· Collaborate with the clinical care team to optimize patient outcomes.
· Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Master’s Degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.
· Current National Board Certification and active State of Employment license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
· Minimum of 1 year recent primary care experience preferred; if not, successful completion of primary care training program required.
· Working knowledge of quality measurement in chronic disease management.
· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work autonomously, adapt to change, and collaborate with team members.
· Proficient with information management systems and technology.
· Willingness to obtain multi-state licensures.
