Your expertise will contribute to the development of utility-scale solar PV installations, battery storage solutions, EV charging stations, and microgrid systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the implementation of solar PV, battery storage, and microgrid systems.
  • Create comprehensive construction drawing sets, including single-line and three-line diagrams, adhering to NEC, IEEE, and utility standards.
  • Conduct interconnection studies and dynamic system modeling.
  • Perform power system studies such as load flow, arc flash, and short circuit analysis.
  • Conduct site assessments and optimize equipment placement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and integrate distributed energy resources.
  • Collaborate with clients, utilities, and contractors to solve design challenges.
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals, translating complex solutions into clear insights.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety codes and jurisdictional regulations.

Qualifications

  • California PE License (Required).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in power distribution or DER systems.
  • Expertise in solar PV, energy storage, EV infrastructure, or microgrids.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and utility interconnection standards.
  • Proficiency in modeling tools like ETAP or SKM.
  • Experience with BOMs, equipment specifications, and routing plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Outstanding communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
