Job Description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. **Nursing Educator** Are you an RN with experience working with individuals with brain injuries and developmental disabilities? Have you designed training programs for your nursing co-workers? As a Nursing Educator, you will create programs for nursing staff development, continuing education, and process improvement, as well as provide support to the program directors and nursing staff. + Design, organize, implement, and evaluate orientation plans and in-service programs for nursing as requested by supervisor + Develop instructional materials, evaluate commercially produced materials, and maintain current educational supplies and equipment + Evaluate programs and make recommendations to supervisor and program directors; modify programs as required + Conduct an educational needs assessment for nursing as needed + Design, organize, implement, and evaluate continuing education programs that reflect current standards of nursing practice, linking them to individual clinical performance, state regulations, and company policies and procedures + Maintain required records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes + Assist nurse managers, program directors, and other nursing staff with projects and activities as requested + Prepare and distribute cumulative summary reports on quality control data to Management as requested + Serve as a consultant to Program Directors and nursing staff in the evaluation of process improvement activities **_Qualifications:_** + Degree in nursing with current state Registered Nurse licensure; current authorized RN + 3-5 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities as a trainer/educator Current CPR/First Aid certification + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills **_Why Join Us?_** + Benefits package for full-time employees. + 401(k) plan + Paid time off and holiday pay + Complex work adding value to the organization's mission alongside a great team of coworkers + Enjoy job security with nationwide career development and advancement opportunities **Come join our amazing team of committed, caring professionals.** **_Apply Today!_** Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care.
