Location/Division Specific Information

• This position is part of our dynamic Statistical Science team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
• The role is on-site, offering a12-week internship with 40 hours per week.

• Join us in our mission to drive groundbreaking discoveries in clinical trials. As a Statistical Science Intern, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing clinical trial data and developing novel analytical tools.

A day in the Life:

• Perform statistical programming and analyses using R and SAS.
• Develop and maintain R Shiny applications for data visualization.
• Collaborate with AI/ML experts to integrate biostatistical workflows.

• To excel in this role, you should be highly motivated, meticulous, and possess outstanding analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are crucial, as is the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience
• Strong proficiency in R and SAS.
• Experience developing R applications using Shiny.
• Familiarity with clinical trial data analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Solid understanding of clinical trial design and regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques is a plus.
